Privacy Policy

Information You Provide

Critter Grid does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise GPS location, or payment information. If you contact Nodnarb Games for support or a privacy request, we may receive the information you choose to include in that communication.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app may store gameplay information on your device, such as level progress, coin balance, unlocked or selected critters, settings, and similar game state, to provide core game functionality. Unity's consent framework also stores your Gameplay Analytics choice locally so the app can remember whether you allowed or declined Analytics. Local gameplay data generally remains on your device unless you clear the app's data, reset your progress, or uninstall the app.

Gameplay Analytics

Critter Grid uses Unity Analytics only when you choose Allow Analytics & Play or later enable Gameplay Analytics in the in-game Privacy settings. You can choose Play Without Analytics and still play the game normally. You can also change this choice later. Your Gameplay Analytics choice is separate from advertising settings and does not change whether ads are personalized.

When Gameplay Analytics is enabled, Unity Analytics may process an SDK-generated user or installation identifier, approximate location derived from network information, device and app information, platform, app version, session information, and standard SDK events such as app or session starts.

Critter Grid also sends the following gameplay events when Analytics is enabled:

• Level started: level number and selected critter;
• Level completed: level number, selected critter, active gameplay duration, restart count, and Reveal count;
• Level restarted: level number, selected critter, and sequential restart number;
• Reveal used: level number, selected critter, sequential Reveal number, and Reveal source (currently coins);
• Critter purchased: purchased critter and in-game coin price;
• Critter selected: selected critter;
• Tutorial started; and
• Tutorial completed.

These gameplay events do not intentionally include your name, email address, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone data, camera data, or file contents.

Diagnostics and Performance Data

Critter Grid uses Unity's Diagnostics and Developer Data features to help identify crashes, errors, stability issues, and performance problems. Diagnostics Data is separate from the optional Gameplay Analytics choice described above and may be collected when the app is used.

This may include:

• Crash logs, stack traces, and error information;
• App version and platform information;
• Device model, operating system version, and similar technical information;
• Performance and diagnostic information; and
• SDK-generated device, installation, or other identifiers used for diagnostics and service operation.

Nodnarb Games uses this information to troubleshoot problems, improve stability and performance, and maintain Critter Grid.

Advertising and Related Data

Critter Grid uses Unity LevelPlay to mediate banner and optional rewarded advertisements. Participating advertising providers include Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and other demand partners available through the LevelPlay mediation configuration, which may include ironSource Ads. Advertising providers and SDKs may process information necessary to request, deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertisements.

Depending on the provider, region, and device settings, this may include:

• Device and advertising identifiers, when available and permitted;
• IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;
• Device model, language, operating system, app version, and network information;
• App interactions such as app launches, taps, ad views, video views, clicks, and rewards;
• Ad requests, impressions, and other ad-delivery or measurement information;
• SDK-generated identifiers;
• Fraud-prevention, security, diagnostic, and performance information; and
• Privacy or consent signals made available to the advertising provider or platform.

The app does not intentionally send your name, email address, or precise GPS location to these advertising services. The information actually processed depends on the advertising provider, your region, device settings, and applicable privacy requirements.

How We Use Information

Local gameplay information is used to save your progress and support core game features. Gameplay Analytics information, when you have allowed Analytics, may be used to:

• Measure game usage, engagement, sessions, and player progression;
• Understand which levels players start, complete, restart, or struggle with;
• Evaluate level difficulty and identify confusing or frustrating gameplay patterns;
• Understand how often Reveals and critter features are used;
• Understand tutorial completion and other gameplay flows;
• Investigate gameplay problems and improve game balance and design; and
• Support, maintain, and improve Critter Grid.

Crash, diagnostic, and performance information is used to find, troubleshoot, and fix bugs, crashes, errors, and performance problems. Advertising and related information may be used to:

• Request, deliver, and display advertisements;
• Personalize ads when permitted by applicable settings and law;
• Deliver non-personalized, contextual, limited, or technical ads when applicable;
• Measure ad performance and apply frequency controls;
• Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• Provide optional in-game rewards after a rewarded ad; and
• Support and maintain the game.

Sharing Information

Information may be processed by service providers and SDK partners used to operate Critter Grid, including Unity services such as Unity Analytics, Developer Data/Diagnostics, and Unity LevelPlay, as well as participating advertising providers such as Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and ironSource Ads where configured. These companies process information under their own privacy policies and may act as service providers, processors, or independent controllers depending on the service and activity.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of players, Nodnarb Games, or others.

Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

Nodnarb Games does not sell personal information for money. Advertising providers may use or disclose device and activity information to deliver or measure advertising when permitted. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising activities as "selling," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged for the information.

Your in-game Gameplay Analytics choice does not change advertising settings. You may also use privacy and advertising controls provided by Android, Google, or your device manufacturer to manage advertising identifiers and related settings where available.

Analytics and Privacy Choices

Gameplay Analytics is optional. The first time Critter Grid asks for this choice, you can select Allow Analytics & Play or Play Without Analytics. You can play the game either way.

You can later open the in-game Privacy settings and change Gameplay Analytics between Allow and Don't Allow. Turning Analytics off stops future Gameplay Analytics collection. Events that occurred while Analytics was not allowed are not uploaded later if you subsequently enable Analytics. Turning Analytics off does not delete data that may already have been collected.

Gameplay Analytics consent is separate from advertising privacy choices. Allowing or declining Gameplay Analytics does not change advertising settings, and advertising choices do not automatically grant Gameplay Analytics consent.

Data Retention and Deletion

Gameplay progress stored on your device remains there until you delete the app, clear its data, or reset progress through available device or app controls. Nodnarb Games retains support communications and information available through service dashboards only as long as reasonably necessary for support, analytics, security, legal compliance, debugging, improvement, and operation of the game. Unity, Google, and other service providers retain information according to their own policies and applicable law.

Critter Grid does not use player accounts. Analytics data, when collected, is generally associated with SDK-generated identifiers rather than an account that you create with Nodnarb Games. Depending on the request and information available, Nodnarb Games may not be able to independently identify a particular person in third-party service data.

Critter Grid does not currently provide an in-app or web form specifically for requesting deletion of Analytics or advertising-service data. You may contact Nodnarb Games using the developer contact information on the Google Play listing for assistance identifying privacy or deletion options that may apply. Third-party providers may also offer their own privacy controls or request mechanisms.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for information handled by the app. Information transmitted to service providers is sent over secure connections where supported. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

International Processing

Unity, Google, and their service or advertising partners may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. The providers are responsible for using appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.

Children's Privacy

Critter Grid is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law, and Nodnarb Games does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or certain Analytics processing. You can use Critter Grid's in-game Privacy settings to allow or decline future Gameplay Analytics collection. You may also contact Nodnarb Games or use privacy controls offered by the relevant platform or third-party provider. You may have the right to appeal a decision or complain to your local data-protection authority.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
